Last May 18–21, 2026, our Training Team conducted the MaPa Teen Parents with Babies Facilitator Training at Naga College Foundation. Nearly 30 Barangay Service Point Officers were equipped with the knowledge, skills, and facilitation techniques needed to deliver the MaPa program in support of adolescent parents in Naga City. 👨‍👩‍👦✨

Throughout the training, participants actively engaged in discussions, practice activities, and simulations designed to strengthen their capacity to guide young parents as they navigate the challenges and opportunities of raising a child.

Last April 22, Dr. Liane Peña Alampay, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Masayang Pamilya Organization, Inc., presented the final session guides and resources for the enhanced Family Development Sessions Transformative Learning Path (FDSTLP) to DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian. This collaboration between DSWD and Dr. Alampay focused on making FDS sessions more fundamental, developmental, synergistic, and easier for City/Municipal Links (CMLs) to deliver. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

It's the result of co-creation with stakeholders at every level, from 4Ps beneficiaries and CMLs to regional FDS focal persons and members of the Family Development Division. It really shows how building a strong program relies on perspectives and input from all our team members.

Last April 15, 2026, our Training and Implementation Team conducted a breakout session with local and international delegates of the Violence Ends With Us (VEWU) 2026: Asia-Pacific Youth-Led Summit on Ending Violence Against Children.

During the session, we shared the MaPa program process and highlighted how evidence-based, skills-based parenting programs can help break cycles of violence and build safer environments where every child can thrive. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

The discussion was both meaningful and dynamic, as participants from different countries asked thoughtful questions and shared insights based on their own contexts and experiences. 🌱🌍

We are excited to see how these learnings will be translated into solutions that contribute to ending violence against children across communities. 🤝💙

In partnership with Joy~Nostalg Foundation, our facilitators came together for a Booster Training in preparation for the 4th batch of MaPa Teens Program Implementation in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

From practicing facilitation skills to revisiting core MaPa concepts, the session helped strengthen their readiness and confidence to lead meaningful sessions with families. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

Last March 25–27, 2026, Masayang Pamilya Organization, Inc., in collaboration with DSWD, conducted a Training of Trainers for the delivery of the enhanced 4Ps Family Development Sessions (FDS).

The activity aimed to equip FDS Focal Persons from all regions with essential facilitation skills to support the learning and development of Municipal and City Links who will deliver FDS sessions to 4Ps beneficiaries across the country. 🇵🇭👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Held at BSA Twin Towers Hotel in Mandaluyong City, the training brought together partners committed to strengthening family learning and support systems nationwide. 💙✨

In partnership with ChildFund Philippines, our Training and Implementation Team conducted the MaPa Kids Program Facilitator Training in Dipolog City.

Participants included Child Development Workers, Child Development Teachers, Barangay Health Workers, Community Facilitators/Volunteers, and Program Officers, now equipped to bring positive and playful parenting practices to families in their communities. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

Last February 19, our Executive Director Jennel Reyes and Training and Implementation Officer Cherry Nicdao held a strategic meeting with the Makati City Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) team to discuss continued collaboration in supporting families in the city.

The meeting was attended by Ma’am Maribel M. Lumang (OIC), Ma’am Ana Marie Cortez (Family Welfare Division Head), Ma’am Loida (Local Council for the Protection of Children), Sir RR (Family Welfare Division), Ma’am Icon (Women’s Affairs Section), and Ma’am Ivy (Legal Officer, MSWD).

We are grateful for the opportunity to strengthen this partnership with MSWD as we continue working together to reach and support more families in Makati City. 🏙️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Last February 12–16, the Masayang Pamilya Organization, Inc. training team traveled to Tagaytay City to conduct the MaPa Teens ASRH Facilitator Training for the staff and parent leaders of SHARE Inc.

It was a meaningful and energizing week of learning, as participants showed strong commitment in deepening their understanding of MaPa concepts and strengthening their facilitation skills. 

We are excited to see the MaPa program implemented in various communities in Batangas City through this partnership. Together, we continue building safer, more informed, and mas Masayang Pamilya. 💙

Through the support of Telus Digital Philippines, Masayang Pamilya Organization, Inc. formalized a meaningful partnership with the Local Government of Naga City, led by Mayor Leni Robredo, to strengthen support for adolescents and their families.

A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed by Jennel C. Reyes of MaPa Org., Inc., with Mayor Robredo and City Councilor Gayle Gomez, solidifying the implementation of the MaPa Teens Hybrid Program—a preventive initiative that empowers parents and teens with skills in open communication, problem-solving, and navigating difficult conversations, including essential components of ASRH such as consent, healthy relationships, and informed decision-making.

With the presence of City Population and Nutrition Office (CPNO) Head Joy Macaraig and MaPa Org Training and Implementation Associate Belle Ongrea, this partnership marks a powerful step toward addressing child maltreatment, child labor, and teen pregnancy in the city. 💙👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

Last October 13–15, 2025, Masayang Pamilya Org., Inc., led by our Chairperson and Ateneo de Manila University Professor Liane Peña Alampay, conducted pilot simulations of select enhanced DSWD 4Ps Family Development Sessions (FDS) in Floridablanca and Angeles, Pampanga. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

In this co-creation endeavor, parent participants and municipal and city links joined the pilot sessions and shared their valuable feedback to help refine and enhance the modules. 💡✨

These mark an important step in making the FDS more engaging, relevant, and effective in empowering Filipino families. 💙👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
